The reason some people like Macbeth because Shakespeare uses different techniques in it and by them self’s the techniques are brilliant. He also uses stuff you would and wouldn’t expect. For example one moment they do something you already expect but then BOOM something unpredictable. Also he uses these different techniques to attract the audience.
Dramatic Devices
Dramatic devices are the types of techniques. The way it works is when an actor performs something called a soliloquy. A soliloquy is when the actor is alone on the stage and is talking to himself but the audience is meant to hear it. Also stuff you would see on the stage like props or the setting of the act.
Themes
Themes are one of the most important part in a book or an act because without themes you’ll be confused on where they are or what the play is about. In books or plays there is madness, ambition, death. There is someone who takes his plans to far which turns into madness or will have a plan which turns into someone will go mad or evil and bring death to someone and that what themes on Macbeth are based on.
Characters
Characters are really important because if your a normal man just there no one would want to see that but if you change your character it will be more exiting. Example do think James bond is a real spy or that he saves the world. Also if the book is based on a super natural act or book of course your going to change your character because that makes it more realistic Also your character has to have conflict with other characters.

You’ve mentioned some of the techniques that Shakespeare uses and broken your explanation into paragraphs. Now you need to give examples (quotations from the play itself) of these techniques and explain how they add to the meaning/power of the play.
